Dear Rod,

I worked as the Project's Engineer for Accurate Air Systems, a division of Comfort Systems USA, on a recently completed air conditioning installation for a well know drilling pipe manufacturer in Houston.

This was a unique job in that it involved the renovation and complete automation of manufacturing facilities that had been shut down and stripped away in 1985.

Our challenge was to provide a more productive working environment in some very large, fairly open building structures, subject to machine heat, as well as Houston's notorious heat and humidity. The building's total air conditioning load is 1250 tons, which the previous plant operators had reduced to 300 tons through use of 40 selected locations for spot cooling only, and there were three (3) 100 ton, Carrier, Air Cooled Chillers left in place when the building was vacated in 1985. The old system had not performed satisfactorily and the owner's first bid invitation on the renovation called for removing the old chillers and installing new ones with greater capacity.

We approached them with some engineering concepts first developed and perfected for the Houston Astrodome, and the Astroworld Amusement Park, with which we could provide satisfactory spot cooling with 300 tons of air conditioning; and not only that, with the use of FRIGI-TECH, we could produce it with the "abandoned chillers", there by saving the owners in excess of $300,000.00 in capital cost.

The owners elected to let us try it with the "abandoned chillers". These contained a total of 12-25 ton compressors. The compressors were checked for internal failures, grounds, etc., and one of the compressors had to be replaced, after which they were all drained, and recharge with new refrigerant oil, mixed with FRIGI-TECH, on  a 94 to 6 parts ratio. The refrigerant circuits were evacuated, and recharged, the controls system, fan belts, pulleys, expansion valves, etc., were checked, repaired and replaced as necessary, the coils were cleaned, and within three and one/half weeks, i.e. on Feb. 26th, 1999, we had three hundred tons of air conditioning equipment producing at full capacity, and humming like new, and it has not faltered in the nine months since that startup date.

This is a great success story, and may be a surprise to those not heretofore exposed to FRIGI-TECH, but, I'm sure you, like me, expect these kind of results, having experienced them many times over the past 14 years. In fact, I believe this plant's owner installed FRIGI-TECH in one of their locations a few years ago, by decision of difference management people, and considering this plant has already saved more that $22,000.00 ( at a 10% cost of money), top management should be very well sold on FRIGI-TECH.
